  4.     Freedom is a family matter for LECH WALESA. He stayed in Warsaw
  5. to attend the July 4 session marking Solidarity's entry into
  6. parliament, while his wife DANUTA journeyed to Philadelphia to
  7. accept an Independence Day award in his behalf. Nobel laureate
  8. Walesa received the city's first Liberty Medal -- and its $100,000
  9. cash prize. JAROSLAW, 12, one of the couple's eight children,
  10. listened proudly as Danuta read aloud her husband's speech in
  11. Polish. Calling liberty a common responsibility, Walesa warned that
  12. no one can ever be free who calmly looks on at another's captivity.
